When you place an order with Outdoor Living2u.co.uk you agree to accept the following Terms and Conditions:

  1. Outdoor Living2u.co.uk is a trading name of Birstall DIY Ltd (referred to throughout as Outdoor Living2u.co.uk).

  2. Every effort is taken to ensure that the information contained within the Outdoor Living2u.co.uk web site is correct and up-to-date.

  3. Outdoor Living2u.co.uk disclaim all warranties and representations as to the accuracy of any information contained if at any time it becomes inadvertently out-of-date or incomplete. Outdoor Living2u.co.uk cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage that may arise from the use of the information provided throughout this web site.

  4. Outdoor Living2u.co.uk is not responsible for this site's accuracy or the reliability of the access to this site. Neither will we assume responsibility for the contents of any other web sites to which this site has links.

  5. Outdoor Living2u.co.uk aim to deliver high quality goods with a fast and friendly service. Every effort is made to display only items that are in stock or which can be dispatched to you quickly and direct from the manufacturer.

  6. All deliveries will be made within 28 days of order, unless otherwise stated. Occasionally we may be unable to meet our usual delivery times due to particular items being unavailable, in which case we will advise you immediately. If this does occur, you will be given the opportunity to order an alternative, to have the products sent as soon as they become available, or to cancel the order.

  7. All prices quoted throughout this web site are in British pounds sterling (£). If you do not have a Trade Account or are not logged into your account, prices include Value Added Tax (VAT) at 17.5%. If you have a Trade Account and are logged in, prices shown will exclude VAT, in which case VAT will be added on to your total order value at 17.5% on the Basket and Checkout pages.

  8. The prices shown throughout the Outdoor Living2u.co.uk web site may differ from our in-store prices.

  9. All orders are accepted at the sole discretion of Outdoor Living2u.co.uk and are subject to your credit or account card being authorised for the transaction.

  10. When buying goods from this site Outdoor Living2u.co.uk assumes that the card holder is over the age of 18, therefore being old enough to purchase age restricted products.
  11. All products remain ownership of Outdoor Living2u.co.uk until payment has been received in full.

  12. If payment becomes null and void or bounces after the product has been dispatched, Outdoor Living2u.co.uk reserve the right to add interest for any length of time that the payment remains outstanding. Furthermore if payment is not received and you have not returned the product we also reserve the right to charge interest at our discretion or if the debt is passed on to a third party.

Outdoor Living2u.co.uk reserve the right to make changes to this website and these terms at any time. These conditions are governed and construed by English law. English courts will resolve any disputes. These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Guarantee on Garden Buildings

Timber Buildings

All Rowlinson timber buildings are manufactured to the highest possible standards, Shiplap buildings are guaranteed for 10 years against rot. Buildings must be erected on pressure treated bearers (please be aware that these are not always included) to ensure air circulation under the floor and to prevent the floor battens coming into direct contact with the ground.

Building Treatment

Shiplap buildings come ready stained but this is only a preparatory treatment and must be properly treated with a recognised external wood preserver within 3 months of assembly and re-treated annually thereafter.

Baltic buildings are supplied untreated and must be treated with a recognised external wood preserver immediately after assembly.

Biohort Garden Buildings

Biohort Garden Buildings come with a 20 year manufacturer guarantee against corrosion.

Ground Contact Products

All pressure treated ground contact products are guaranteed for 15 years against rot.

Dipped Fence Panels and Trellis

All dipped fence panels and trellis panels are guaranteed for 15 years against rot provided they are erected on gravel boards to avoid ground contact and are treated annually with a recognised external wood preserver.

Timber is a natural material and is therefore susceptible to warping, splitting and shrinking during changes in temperature and weather conditions.

Bosch green and blue power tool range come with 2 year guarantee for diy/domestic purposes.

Bosch blue power tools come with 1 year guarantee for commercial/professional purposes. Bosch power tool guarantee.

DeWalt Power Tools

All DeWalt tools come with a 1 year Guarantee. More information.

What is your Returns Policy?

  1. To ensure we deal with your returns quickly and efficiently please ensure you contact us within 3 days of receipt of goods.

  2. Faulty goods may be refunded or exchanged, please contact us via email, telephone or post.

  3. Non-faulty goods may be returned and refunded or exchanged for other goods or products within 14 days of receipt (with the exception of products with a short life shelf, such as cement or plaster). Furthermore, loose aggregates will also be non-returnable due to the nature of the product.

  4. All returned goods must be in their original packaging and condition.

  5. The above is in addition to UK Selling Regulations 2000 under which you have the right to a refund within 7 days of receipt of goods. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

  6. You are responsible for the return carriage charge of non-faulty items.

  7. Sometimes we operate as an agent on behalf of other companies, therefore in some circumstances we may pass you on to them directly.

  8. Nationwide will be the company you need to contact if you have a fault with their brand of sheds and garden buildings. Nationwide also have a separate Terms & Conditions policy which you must accept when purchasing a Nationwide product via the Outdoor Living2u.co.uk website. These Terms & Conditions will be forwarded to you when you complete an order for a Nationwide product.

  9. We will only take a deposit on Nationwide purchases and the outstanding balance will be paid on erection to the erection team in cash.
