Delivery Information
What are your delivery charges?
Each product throughout this web site is marked with an individual delivery charge. When ordering more than one item, you will only pay the highest delivery charge. You will not be charged delivery for each item.
How do I select my delivery day?
It is not possible to guarantee a specific delivery date, however you can specify a preferred date in the "Additional Info" section of the Checkout. We will contact you back to confirm if this date can be met.
When will I receive my delivery?
Delivery timescales are specified for each product on the product description page. When stated in "days" this means working days, i.e. Monday to Friday. Delivery on Saturdays can be arranged but there will be a surcharge. Please contact us for further details.
Most of our items are dispatched within 24 hours if in stock however please allow up to 28 days for out of stock items.
A member of staff will advise you if we do not expect to meet the delivery timescale specified on our website.
Where do you deliver?
Most products throughout this web site can be delivered to any UK Mainland address. Customers living in some remote rural areas should note that some services are not available or may incur additional delivery charges. If you are unsure please contact us.
Loose aggregates such as sand and cement can only be delivered to local addresses in Leicester and Leicestershire - such products are clearly marked throughout the web site. For delivery to other areas please contact us.
Where is the delivery made to with large items?
We can only delivery to the nearest hardstanding point which must be clear and accessible. If access is not clear and we cannot dispatch the product a return charge will be made of £25. We cannot take items around the back of the house due to heath and safety and insurance purposes.
What happens if I'm not home when the goods are delivered?
If you are not home when your goods are delivered, the courier will normally leave a card with instructions on how to reschedule the delivery.
Do I have to check my goods when they are delivered?
When receiving your goods please sign as 'unchecked', otherwise we cannot claim for damage in transit unless the items are checked upon delivery. Please note that palleted item deliveries need to be checked upon delivery before the driver leaves.
What happens if an item that I order is not available?
Every effort is made to display only items that are in stock or which can be dispatched to you quickly and direct from the manufacturer. Occasionally we may be unable to meet our usual delivery times due to certain items being unavailable, in which case we will advise you immediately.
If this does occur, you will be given the opportunity to order an alternative, to have the products sent as soon as they become available, or to cancel the order.
How can I track my order?
If you register for an account when placing your first order, you will be able to track the progress of your items and you will be notified via email when they are dispatched.
We will also send you a tracking number for each item so that you can track your order with the designated courier if applicable.

All large items that are Leicester and Leicestershire areas will be delivered by Birstall DIY. They will contact you first by email or by telephone to arrange a convenient delivery date.
What happens if the goods are damaged or faulty upon delivery?
If your goods are incorrect, faulty or damaged on delivery you have the option to receive a replacement or a full refund.

Please note, we do not offer any type or form of compensation for faulty products (however some manufacturers may do dependant on their company policy).
What is your Returns Policy?
- To ensure we deal with your returns quickly and efficiently please ensure you contact us within 3 days of receipt of goods.
- Faulty goods may be refunded or exchanged, please contact us via email, telephone or post.
- Non-faulty goods may be returned and refunded or exchanged for other goods or products within 14 days of receipt (with the exception of products with a short life shelf, such as cement or plaster). Furthermore, loose aggregates will also be non-returnable due to the nature of the product.
- All returned goods must be in their original packaging and condition.
- The above is in addition to UK Selling Regulations 2000 under which you have the right to a refund within 7 days of receipt of goods. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
- You are responsible for the return carriage charge of non-faulty items.
- Sometimes we operate as an agent on behalf of other companies, therefore in some circumstances we may pass you on to them directly.
- Nationwide will be the company you need to contact if you have a fault with their brand of sheds and garden buildings. Nationwide also have a separate Terms & Conditions policy which you must accept when purchasing a Nationwide product via the Outdoor Living2u.co.uk website. These Terms & Conditions will be forwarded to you when you complete an order for a Nationwide product.
- We will only take a deposit on Nationwide purchases and the outstanding balance will be paid on erection to the erection team in cash.
